    Dear Oda-Sensai!

Whenever a new chapter of One Piece appears, I still feel the echo of those fabled drums of liberation, their rhythm lifting my mood no matter how heavy the day has been. I was only six the first time your story crossed my path, and for more than twenty years it has grown alongside me—quietly steady through grief, defiantly joyful in celebration, and always ready with the reminder that tomorrow can be brighter than today.

During my lowest moments, when I doubted whether I could keep moving at all, your work became a lifeline. I would turn another page, watch another episode, and discover the small but essential truth that persistence and kindness can coexist with laughter. On the best days—my wedding and Sunday gatherings with friends old and new—One Piece amplified every smile. Everyone close to me now recognizes “chapter day” as sacred time: the outside world pauses, and for a little while we experience something that leaves us lighter than before.

Your dedication has done more than entertain me; it has shaped the way I dream. After each release I jot down notes about your pacing, the delicate foreshadowing, the way humor folds into heartbreak without overshadowing it. Over the years those notes evolved into outlines of my own fiction, sketches of cities and histories I hope will one day feel as vivid for others as your world has felt for me. You taught me that big ideas thrive when they’re anchored by genuine emotion, and that if I care enough to polish every detail, I can pass that feeling forward.

I know I’m only one voice among millions, yet I want you to hear this clearly: your effort matters. Somewhere tonight a reader on the brink of giving up will find hope in a single panel you once redrew at dawn; another will start their first story because your commitment showed them it’s possible. The ripples of your work reach farther than any of us can measure, touching hospital rooms, classrooms, commuter trains—any place a person needs a reason to keep going or a reminder to laugh out loud.

Thank you for every sleepless night spent perfecting a chapter. Thank you for believing in a story that refuses to shrink itself or rush to the finish line. Most of all, thank you for the comfort, courage, and inspiration you give to people like me, who have grown up alongside your pages and found a bit more color in the world because of them.

I wish you good health, deep happiness, and the certainty that your art continues to make life better for countless readers around the globe. I’ll be there next Sunday, notebook in hand, grateful once again for the chance to read.

With heartfelt admiration and unending gratitude,

A lifelong fan, writer, and fellow dream-chaser

Whenever a new chapter of One Piece appears, I feel the echo of the drums of liberation in my chest, their rhythm lifting my mood no matter how heavy the day has been. During my lowest moments, when I doubted whether I could keep moving at all, your work and Luffy himself became a lifeline. I would turn another page, watch another episode, and discover the small but essential truth that persistence and kindness can coexist with laughter. On the best days—my wedding or my army graduation and Sunday gatherings with friends old and new—One Piece amplified every smile. Everyone close to me now recognizes “One Piece Time” as sacred time: the outside world pauses, and for a little while we experience something that leaves us lighter than before.

Your dedication has done more than entertain me; it has shaped the way I dream and the way I think. After each release I thinm about your pacing, the delicate foreshadowing, the way humor folds into heartbreak without overshadowing it and even watch countless videoes going over the smallest of details and thinks I might have missed. Over the years your work evolved into outlines of my own fiction, sketches of cities and histories I hope will one day feel as vivid for others as your world has felt for me and maybe one day to be able to replicate even slightly your abilities. You taught me that big ideas thrive when they’re anchored by genuine emotion, and that if I care enough to polish every detail, I can pass that feeling forward.

Most of all, thank you for the comfort, courage, and inspiration you give to people like me, who have grown up alongside your pages and found a bit more color in the world because of them. I know it might be cheesy but I rememebr the time you said “Luffy Go Make Me A Mangaka”… I hope you look back at it and have a hugh Luffy-Like smile, You deserve it! You are absolutely a mangaka now haha! One of the greatest writers in history one that will be remembered even a 100 years from now, you can say you made a long way even above being just “another mangaka”. You wont be eresed from history that is for sure
