  • One Piece inspired me in many ways

During the 2020 pandemic, our schools were closed and we had to stay home for months. It was a lonely and uncertain time. But that’s when I got introduced to One Piece. Since we had to stay in home most of the time, I was on the internet for more than hours. After I discovered One Piece I started watching the anime then at some point I started reading the manga too. One Piece is more than just an manga for me—it was my escape, my motivation, and my joy. Because of one piece I started to watch more anime and I discovered a lot of good manga/anime series, I got to know more about Japanese culture.

Luffy’s determination, the crew’s bond, and the sense of adventure gave me hope and reminded me to never give up—even when life felt like a break week (haha)

Thank you, Oda-sensei, for creating something that touched my heart and made me feel less alone. I don’t know what the One Piece is yet… but I already found mine in this story.
P.S. Robin made me want to read more books until… I realized I couldn’t summon extra hands to flip the pages for me and Zoro made me want to train (but I didn’t).
