As a long-time fan, I feel really disappointed with the recent story. Gear 5 was built up as something legendary—Luffy almost died to awaken it. But then suddenly Bonney can just copy it? That makes Luffy’s struggle feel meaningless. One Piece used to make every power-up feel earned, but now it looks like the story is losing its weight. Honestly, this direction makes the anime feel worse and cheapens the journey we’ve followed for so long.
